I’m a writer and VR expert based in Manchester, with years of experience in DJing, music production and podcasting. I work for one of the world’s leading virtual reality platforms as a copywriter and VR filmmaker.
I’ve written for national and international publications, including The Independent, New Scientist, Time Out, Vice, Etihad Airlines, Rolls Royce Magazine and the Daily Mirror, as well as regional publications such as the Manchester Evening News, City Life and I Love Manchester.
I specialise in food & drink, music, comedy and lifestyle topics – features, opinion pieces and interviews.
Copywriting: I’ve produced Google-topping content for major brands such as Chivas, Renault, MSN and Intu, plus many UK businesses.
I also work as the food & drink editor for the UK culture site Creative Tourist, covering the North of England. I write and publish coverage of restaurants, bars and hotels across the North of England, leading a team of freelancers. I own professional photography equipment – you can see my work on Instagram – and have a ton of experience in recording/editing video and audio.

DJ work: I ran two award-winning clubnights. Clique, a dance/disco/electro/house clubnight (DJs of the Year, MEN, along with my co-DJ Damien), and KEYS MONEY LIPSTICK, a sticky-floored indie disco (Clubnight of the Year, MEN). Both had queues around the block week after week, for years.
As half of the Clique DJ crew, I’ve warmed up for guest appearances by many major acts, including LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, Florence & The Machine, Friendly Fires, and more. I’ve provided tour support for Nile Rodgers & Chic and DJd at Homoelectric and Creamfields, as well as dozens of venues around Manchester.
We also produced a series of wildly successful remixes for major label artists, including Lana Del Rey, Cat Power, Saint Etienne and Erasure. Our tracks have had millions of hits in total, been featured on TV adverts for HMV and been viral hits across South America (and Youtube).
